  • Hit and miss depending on the manager anddepartment.

  • Some days there is nothing but small jobs and finding things to do and other days you'll work a 14 hour shift

  • At first very then as time past there was little planning for our movements etc for several months and last minute changes including geographically where you where working.

  • Retail is a lifestyle choice you have to be prepared to give up every other weekend, bank holidays, christmas and often work unsociable hours "for your development"

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • We got to know the other trainees well and socialised with them often but this was all out of work.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Socialising and costs where good initially then as time progressed there wasn't time as we where expected to work longer/awkward hours and we got moved geographically.
