The Role
A great deal more enjoyable than I was expecting. My enjoyment improved too with my time spent there as I got to know the department.
I was always invited to events after work had fifnished and felt my input was valued to the same extent as other employees of all levels.
always happy to help me and assist in thisngs I didnt understand
always had jobs to carry on with if I finished other more important jobs with time constraints.
not enough. i would have liked the opportunity to use the phones a little more and go with employees on visits and inspections.
valuble for my degree studies and APC in the future. I will be able to utilise the skills and knowledge developed for many future years.
The Company
really good team, always fun to be around.
better than other internships in other companies sound from friends! the scheme talks from other departments were fantastic and have opened up a number of areas for potential futute careers. more emphasis shoud have been put into socials and getting the interns from different offices together.
I would love a job with savills. I now consider the firm as even further above competitors!
The Culture
some were very worried to go for drinks to make sure they were fresh for work the next day. I thought more could have been done to assist this. Friends on similar schemes in london during the same month seemed to have a better social scene among their intern groups.
Increadibly expensive. my travel was over £450 to commute in and after works drinks added up to a very considerable amount.
Many bars to go for after work drinks and travelled in to the west end for many good evenings
I was invited to go with my department on many extra curricular events including birthday drinks on a couple of occasions
