The Role
Both my fellow interns and the department I was working in were extremely friendly.
Regular feedback was given on all tasks and there were ample opportunities to ask questions and get involved. The team tried to include in as many varied tasks as possible ensuring comprehensive experience across the board.
There were regular reviews and appraisals throughout the placement. Everyone was approachable and happy to answer questions.
Greatly improved my multi-tasking skills, as the placement progressed I learnt which projects were most important, during the early stages, it was essential to determin the priorities of the work that had been set.
More and more! As the placement progressed and my knowledge expanded I was given more and more responsibility and the work increased in complexity. This meant my skills were enhanced rather than rehearsed and I left feeling as though I had helped out the department during a bust period.
Very much so, the insider knowledge of how things operate in a proffessional environment will be essential to my education and long-term employment. The practicalities and priorities of tasks etc. will be fully influential in the way I approach my studies and the choices I make in prioritising.
The Company
The office was open plan so everyone knew everyone, and soon everyone knew me! Its a lively place to work, and everyone was very friendly.
It was clear alot of planning goes in to the internship process at Savills. There were regular talks and social events, individual mentors and ongoing correspondance.
The time invested in my personal development was considerable. Everyone was orientated to ensure that I could get the most from this experience.

The Culture
I've made some really good friends throughout the process through organised evenets and general socialising.

Central London! The options were endless
There were several opportunities to attend events and social activities outside of work. Everyone was inviting.
