  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I enjoyed the wide variety of work and gaining an insight into an international commercial law firm.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My Trainee Buddies were both excellent, unfortunately my first supervisor was only present 2 of the 5 days and didn't give me any work and my second was extremely so she couldn't spend any time with me. However I understand that is the nature of a busy law firm, which I enjoy.

  • I was kept busy with a wide variety of research tasks and reviewing which I enjoyed.

  • Naturally being a vacation scheme student we can't be given that much responsibility, but everyone was very grateful for the work I completed.

  • Retention rates are good, I feel that the firm will be fair in judging if I suit there nature I will be given a job. They really invest in their staff.

  • Although more social events could have been arranged particularly in the first week.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Reasonable for central London.

  • It was reasonable for central London but not the best place to be located.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • We had the opportunity to get involved in sports teams, I wouldn't really expect any more.
