  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I thoroughly enjoyed the placement and was kept engaged constantly.

  • The trainees were very friendly and asked us out to dinner if we were working late

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My supervisors were very friendly and always willing to help and give background on the deal I was working on.

  • I stayed till 10:30pm one night but I loved it

  • I was given a lot of responsibility and a lot of client contact

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I can't believe how much I learned in the 2 weeks. I learnt to write board minutes and my commercial awareness definitely increased!

  • A friendly but professional working environment

  • It all ran smoothly

  • I was only there for 2 weeks as an intern so do not really have much to say on this!

  • I hope to get a job here!

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • We got along and organised drinks after work of our own initiative

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • It's London, so will be expensive.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • There is rarely great nightlife in the center of the City of London.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • If the placement had been longer the opportunities would have been greater however the Olympics shortened the process.
