The Role
You have to use your own initiative to get the most out of this placement.
I felt valued by my immediate colleagues and my manager.
You need to learn on your own, as most of the my task only my predecessors and me know how to do them.
Having a relative short day you are busy most of the time.
Towards the second half of the placement I was given some analysis to write. A paragraph a week.
I think it has improved my IT skills which are very useful for my future. Also it was teach me how to deal with different personalities in an office environment.
The Company
The office had a very fun environment, but mainly between more senior employees.
I think the job was just transfered from one student
There was no real investment for my training, as it was only one week on the job training.
Is a very small business with limited room for career development
The Culture
There was no real social scene.
Central London is a expensive place.
There is a well known club just opposite of the office. I never went.
There was only one charity run.
