  • Was like a Baxter Family in the office, everyone very friendly

  • Good manager who was there to answer all of my questions

  • Lots to do, did involve managing time and prioritising workload. But of course that is expected with a full time job.

  • I was running a website, involved in a brand new pilot scheme and organised a few events

  • Very friendly

  • The handover from taking on the job from a previous student could have been better. However had regular one to ones with manager

  • Integrated as if a permanenet member, doing all the training essentials and being replied upon over the year

  • A scheme for the after graduation - one student will be taken on for another 18month contract in three different business areas

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • We all got on well but as the company is situated in the middle of nowhere, seeing each other outside of work was a challenge.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Company is based in a very small village. One pub, one shop, one hairdressing salon.

  • Was non existant. Newbury was the only place to 'go out' but difficulty with distance from home.
