Overview
Flood modelling and investigation. On a daily basis this includes designing models and running scenarios in applications such as Hec-Ras, ReFH2 and Jacobs Flood modeller. In addition this also includes investigating instances of flooding or flood risk assessments.
Skills
I have developed my modelling skills, writing skills and gained experience of professional skills such as presenting, problem solving, communication and collaboration.
Responsibilities
Yes I have been given a lot of independence and been left to work alone with the option of very good support if I would like it.
Support & Guidance
I have received a lot of support and guidance from Mott MacDonald. They have lots of resources available and everyone is happy to help if you ask.
Culture
Everyone is kind, friendly and supportive, the atmosphere is good and nice.
