    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
  • On a day-to-day basis, the schedule typically included talks from professionals. There were also group activities and a case study designed to develop teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills. We took part in Q&A panels with recent graduates and senior staff, giving us a chance to ask questions and get honest insights into their career journeys.

  • Yes, during the Spring Into Deloitte programme, I developed my communication and teamwork skills through group activities and case studies. I also gained a better understanding of professional networking and improved my commercial awareness through talks from different service lines.

    Business Insight

  • 3. What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
  • Understanding all about the business and potential roles at Deloitte was both insightful and inspiring. The programme gave a clear breakdown of each service line, their day-to-day work, and how they contribute to solving real-world problems. It helped me see how my skills could align with different roles and gave me a better sense of the career paths available, making the firm feel much more accessible and exciting.

    Culture

  • 4. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • The company culture at Deloitte felt inclusive, supportive, and collaborative. Everyone—from recent graduates to senior staff—was approachable and willing to share their experiences. The atmosphere during the programme was welcoming and engaging, which made it easy to ask questions, get involved in discussions, and feel like a valued part of the team, even as an intern.

  • 5. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I really enjoyed the insight—it was a valuable and engaging experience from start to finish. The variety of sessions kept things interesting, and the chance to interact with professionals at different levels gave me a genuine feel for what working at Deloitte would be like. It definitely confirmed my interest in pursuing a career with the firm.

  • I’d recommend taking the time to research Deloitte’s values and service lines so you can show genuine interest and tailor your application. Be yourself during the process, stay curious, and don’t be afraid to ask questions during insight programmes—they really value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Also, practising for interviews and assessment centres can really boost your confidence.
