    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

    • We attended a variety of talks and interactive sessions with the early careers team, higher ups at the bank, and graduates at the start of their career. We also had a group assessment on the last day that determined whether we would be fast tracked to the assessment centre.

    • I developed key technical skills for TDI and learnt about a variety of business areas - TDI, O&A, FIC, CB. We also had some insightful sessions about developing other soft skills that are useful for pursuing banking as a profession.

    • There were some excellent training sessions from external companies as well as talks from higher ups at Deutsche Bank that gave a clear sense of the business areas, focuses of the bank, and all the available roles at the bank.

    • There is a strong culture of inclusivity and collaboration at Deutsche. In addition, there is a strong emphasis and focus on compliance and security for clients.
