    • My role involved attending daily meetings, networking, working on individual work projects and collaborative projects

    • I’ve learnt technical skills, like how to use Microsoft Visio. I’ve also learnt soft skills line networking, communicating, and collaborative working.

    • I was given a personal research project which I had responsibility for. However I feel like I had less responsibility for the collaborative projects, although I was included.

    • I received support from my line manager and checked in on a weekly basis. I was checked in daily with someone from my team who was very supportive

    • Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I felt like I settled in quickly and wasn’t nervous.

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

    • I really enjoyed the work I was doing, and I enjoyed the lifestyle I had. It was a good opportunity and I gained lots of advice and insights. It’s helped me think about my career choices too.
