  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I really enjoyed my vacation scheme, a great experience.

  • I was incorporated as part of the team from day one, being given plentiful opportunities to get involved with a variety of work.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Support and guidance was always available from all members of staff, but in particular from my designated trainee buddy and supervisor.

  • I was involved in a number of different tasks each day which kept me busy.

  • I was given a reasonable amount of responsibility for a vacation scheme student.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The skills that I developed during this scheme should help me in understanding the practical issues involved in everyday practice. This will be very useful during my study of the LPC.

  • The office was very friendly and welcoming. I was made to feel a part of the team.

  • The team in which I was based provided me with numerous tasks that helped me to develop my abilities to apply the law in practice.

  • The firm has one of the highest retention rates in respect of newly qualified lawyers.
