    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I have loved my year and have not only broadened my skills but learned so much about marketing within the film industry.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Everyone is very considerate and helps guide you. The team are really hard working and have so much experience within the film industry so it is amazing to learn from them.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • You are provided by training through out the year which advises on how to manage your work load, your communication and presenting skills. Also there are regular meetings with your line manager to go over anything you are unsure of. Once you first start there is also a hand over period and handover notes for you to reference.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Some days can be very busy especially when getting close to release however it is definitely counterbalanced by the reward of seeing your hard work being printed or going live online.

    3/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • At Warner Bros interns are not treated as such. I was given responsibility from the start and this was then built upon through out the year. It is exactly what I wanted to get out of my year. By working hard and accepting responsibility you are able to progress to taking on extra tasks and get as much out of the experience as possible.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • My experience working within Warner Bros has really brought my skills to the next level. I was always organized and good with time management but no where near to the extent I am now which will be amazing for final year!

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The office is never dull, it is open plan and has an exciting atmosphere due to the work.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • HR greet you on your first day and the intern you are replacing trains you and provides handover notes which is really beneficial for referencing anything you may be unsure of.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • There are HR courses for interns to help make you more efficient and effective not only within you placement year but for the future. Also there is an additional computer course which you can take.

    5/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Company Parties/Events

    5/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • I would love to work back at Warner Bros, there is no official graduate scheme however there are many previous interns who have come back to work at Warner Bros.

    5/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There is a good social scene however there is nothing official put in place. There are over 30 interns in a variety of departments so you would never be short of someone to socialize with.

    4/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I found that there were amazing perks so I didn't feel I had to go out as I was going to really nice work events. London is expensive however if you stick to a budget it is fine

    3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • There are a few really nice chilled out pubs for a relaxed after work drink

    3/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • There is a football team which some of the interns got involved in, there are also charity days. Another intern and I did the NSPCC Gurkin Climb Challenge through Warner Bros.

    3/5
