    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I really enjoyed my placement- I was challenged, immersed within a real role and was given fantatsic opportunities.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I felt valued by my collegues, and felt that I developed a close relationship with ,many of my co- workers.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I could not have asked for a better management team. I had 3 senior managers who I worked closely with. If I ever had any questions or problems I felt that I could approach them and they would help and offer as much advice as possible.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was extremely busy on a day to day basis- however I don't believe this is a negative. The busier you are the more experience you gain and this placement year is all about gaining experience.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given a fair amount of responsibilty- however, with all big companies there was always an approval process and I did have to get the majority of my work approved.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Could not have asked to gain more valuable lessons. I will take away skills that will prepare me for the future and hopefully improve my employability.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Good atmosphere with collegues. Quiet within the office at times.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • I would say the company was very well prepared for interns as a whole. I believe my handover could have been to a higher standard, however the management helped with any issues that my handover notes did not cover. I have developed handover notes for the next intern so hopefully this issue shall be resolved.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • They supported training courses internally and sent me on an external IT course. The company invited me to meetings and exhibitions to help me in future with feeling comfotable in such situations.

    5/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Company Parties/Events

    Staff Sales/Staff Shop

    5/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • There is not a graduate scheme and Warner Bros is a competitive enviroment. However, I have made contacts that will support me with references in the future.

    3/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • A large team of 30 interns, activities included: after work drinks, clubbing on weekends and attendance of staff events together.

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • LONDON is expensive- but worth it!

    3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Something for everyone in London. Clubs, tourists attractions, restaurants. You will never be bored!

    5/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Opportunity to help at charity events, attend film screenings, and a few sports teams to join.

    4/5
