    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Had great days and great opportunities, sometimes the nature of the job itself was hard work. But this seems to be the same with most jobs

    3/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • It was always kept in mind that I was only there for a limited period, but that was to be expected.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • The structure of the management training programme provided that very well. The only difference is how each manager approaches that task.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Busy is good, Enterprise certainly keeps you busy, but occasionally I could have done with a bit more time to sit down and get my head round things

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Got given just as much responsibility as other members of staff at my level.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Obviously some skills are non-transferrable, but time-management, prioritising, marketing and sales techniques, people skills and general management skills are definetly transferrable to the completion of my degree and other jobs I will have in the future.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • I was in 3 different branches and the atmosphere was very different in each of them. The current one is the most fun.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • great ran exactly teh same as the graduate scheme

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Same extent as everyone else

    5/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Healthcare from home

    3/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • 5/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • None between other students but that's because there were none in my area. The closest other girl was preston about an hour's drive away!

    1/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I lived at home for the duration of my placement

    3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • 3/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Not really. A couple of branch nights out and some drinks after work.
