Overview
I assist the wider team on their client projects. This could include checking over deliverables, drafting communications, brainstorming ideas, sourcing materials etc.
Skills
I have learned how to use a lot of industry-specific softwares, such as online surveying platforms and website-building sites. My time management skills have greatly improved and my confidence.
Responsibilities
I feel like I was given meaningful tasks from day one of my Placement. I was working on client projects and felt like my contributions were valued and important. I had exposure to a variety of different projects and clients.
Support & Guidance
I had a very supportive people manager, who I met with weekly to discuss progress / concerns. I was also allocated a buddy (someone who was a recent graduate and had joined the firm's graduate scheme) which I thought was really thoughtful and allowed me to have a peer to ask questions to when needed.
Culture
Everyone is generally very friendly and open. People are more than happy to meet for a coffee and tell you about their role/ answer any questions. Very flexible culture. There are monthly socials and sports teams which I have been able to be involved with.
