Overview
it included tasks such as; helping with lease reading, creating lease summaries and checking for alterations and other clauses. calculating service charge caps and management fee caps for the service charge budgets. going out on site visits to different asset types such as out of town retail sites to office spaces. Using excel and other software researching potential clients
Skills
my communication skills have been significantly improved throughout my placement. My skills using excel for the different roles involved with property management has improved and I have also learnt how to effectively extract information from a lease
Responsibilities
I have been given a good level of responsibility during my placement and have felt that i have really been allowed to contribute to the day to day in the property management team, everyone has been so good at finding work for me to and ensuring I understand the task at hand
Support & Guidance
I received a high level of support throughout my placement from all members of the team and those working for the HR team. people at all levels of the business have taken the time to introduce themselves to me and help me with different tasks as well as setting work for me and taking me along on site visits
Culture
really positive, everyone I have come in contact with has been open and happy to help with any questions I have, there were lots of social opportunities to get involved with which allowed me to feel like a real part of the team
Your Impressions
I enjoyed the variety of the work and the mix of working in the office and going out on site. The team I worked in also made it very enjoyable and made me feel like I was really contributing to the overall goals of the team and gave me lots of work to keep me busy.
