  • Everyone was very friendly and they treated you as if you were part of the team.

  • It was very well organised and I always had work to get on with.

  • I was paid a great salary and they obviously tried to teach me skills that I could use later on.

  • In my last week, I had my final partner interview and, that along with comments from the staff I had worked with, meant that I was offered a full-time job for when I finished my degree.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes, there were 3 of us and we were invited to social events almost every week of the placement.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Aberdeen is quite expensive anyway, but they paid for lunch which helped with food costs and you can find cheap rents if you look online.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • As I was at university in the same city, I already knew the nightlife was great. My work colleagues were keen to go out with the summer placement students.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Yes, we went to the circus and team night-outs.
