Supporting the team to achieve the access and uptake of Pfizer medicines through managing comms with external stakeholders, generating analytics to inform publication strategy/internal decision making and supporting with ad-hoc tasks. A typical day can involve a range of different tasks covering multiple stages across the market access timeline.

This placement has vastly furthered my soft and hard skillset. The kinds of assignments I've been allocated have enhanced my skills and knowledge, with assignments targeted to broadening my skillset. Even just in terms of IT skills I've been supported in learning new software to enable me to deliver on my goals. Analytical skills, presentational skills, critical thinking are just a few areas I feel I've developed.

I feel a lot of trust was placed in me on a number of occasions. In particular, I was trusted to present to senior leaders in the organisation a few times which I feel was a fantastic opportunity for me to improve my confidence & presentational skills. This was a lot of pressure however I felt supported and trusted to handle this responsibility.

I received a huge amount of support and really did feel I could reach out at any time to the team with questions/queries. The 'buddy' system is an amazing way to receive support and guidance and I feel this, along with regular catch-ups with my line manager created an environment where there was always someone I could speak to and get support from.

I think there was a fantastic team culture especially in a predominantly virtual environment. The culture/values set on a global level are definitely felt on a team level.

I greatly enjoyed my placement and think Pfizer and the team I was in is a fantastic team/company/environment to work. Being surrounded my hugely talented and passionate individuals really did bring the best out of me and allowed me to develop and learn from industry leading people.

Demonstrate passion and enthusiasm. The colleagues I've worked with and interacted with are so driven and passionate about their work so really make sure you know WHY you want to work for Pfizer. Whatever the role you are in, your work will contribute to Pfizer's goals and ambitions so it is important to identify what makes you tick and how this links/aligns with Pfizer's aims.
