Lots of responsibility, started off light then more responsibilities were added throughout the year as I became more comfortable in the role. Was treated just like another full - time employee.
Was always supported 100% by manager and wider team. Was paired up with a great mentor via the YPN network who provided extra support outside of my team. Any problems or queries I had would be solved with great support. Everyone I worked with was always happy to help.
Company culture was very good, warm and welcoming and supportive towards helping build my career. Social events and activities were affected due to COVID during my placement year, however once the office began to open up, started to have more social events and activities within the Finance team. Had a Cares Day to give back to the community (volunteering). Could have been more activities for the interns together.
Had an amazing, welcoming, supportive team and workplace was perfect for me. Company culture is always great. Met my expectations and went above expectations.
