An array of product and team discussions, providing an insight into Rothschild & Co as a firm. Over the course of the week, participants are given numerous opportunities to interact with HR, junior and senior bankers. The week ended with an M+A group case study presentation based on skills and content developed over the course of the program.
I learnt a lot of new skills! This program really gave me the opportunity to network - a critical skill that is hard to exercise at University. In addition to this, the various group tasks helped me to deepen my presentation and collaboration skills - critical in this industry.
Whilst Rothschild is a smaller Investment Bank, you really do get an insight into how global they are, with employees and offices across the world. The insight week provides a fantastic introduction into all the different divisions within the bank - with plenty of opportunities to interact with a range of bankers from analyst to MD.
The company culture was relaxed, yet the firm has a rich history and impressive reputation . Every banker I interacted with was very proud to work at Rothschild and incredibly happy to answer any questions we had - from analysts all the way up to MD.
The Graduate Recruitment Team did a great job of organising a busy, yet enjoyable week which really helps participants to better understand the Roths identity and culture. It is a very collaborative week too, with many opportunities to meet other program participants and bankers alike - an invaluable experience for me.
Yes
Do plenty of research on the firm and what makes Roths so unique. Rothschild is very proud to be different to other Investment Banks, so an understanding of this is crucial.
