Overview
The insight week went great. Everyone in Nomura was so approachable. As an intern, we got the chance to sit on the desk and work shadow people in our team.
Skills
Yes. We had excel training in the first couple days and during our time on the desk, we each got assigned a project to work on, which personally helped me learn about the division a lot.

It provides us with countless opportunities to network with people from different divisions and desks, which is crucial in helping us to understand the organisation.

Culture
It is unique. I would say it is a healthy working environment where everyone is approachable and willing to answer all your questions. I had the chance to speak to very senior people in Nomura, such as Head of DCM, MD, ED, CP on a regular basis.
