Overview
There was an introduction and panel discussion for the major divisions. Afterwards, there was a group exercise to provide a taster of the role. This is followed by a networking session with people working in that division.
Skills
I learnt how to better work together in a team from the group exercises, particularly in managing the team's direction for the task. I also learned how to ask better questions from the networking sessions.
Business Insight
The speakers were clear about their roles and what they do, especially the speaker for the investment banking introduction. A few of the speakers could have been more concise. Overall, the PowerPoint slides and structure of the speeches made the roles clear. I also had the chance to learn about interesting roles that were not often spoken about like credit risk and payments.
Culture
People were very friendly and were happy to answer my questions. They appreciated curiosity and efforts to learn. I felt comfortable being around the people at J.P. Morgan despite it being a large bank. Finally, the people were very passionate and knowledgeable about their work.
Your Impressions
This insight has been one of the highlights of my year. It was fun learning more about the opportunities at J.P. Morgan. Overall, I learned about what I want in my career and how I can add value to J.P. Morgan.

My biggest advice would be to come in with an open mind and learn as much as you can.
