Overview
The Explore Programme lasted for 4 days which includes the following: Day 1 - Most of it was an introduction to investment banking and an overview of different terminologies within the division. There were 4 different 2-minutes presentations with 15 minutes of preparation which help with pitching skills and taught you how to be more precise Day 2 - Introduction to global markets. There were 4 divisions within the global markets division and an overview of what each role entails. We then had the opportunity to network with the people in that division Day 3 - Introduction to Technologies An overview of what it includes and what program is used within the firm. Trading game Day 4 - Introduction to Investment Banking Lots of opportunities to network and Q&A with the employees

Diverse and inclusive is the reason that most employees answer the question of why Nomura is its people. At Nomura, everyone is friendly and will help you if you put the first move The hierarchy within Nomura is 'flat' as you can always talk to a more senior manager

Your Impressions
Overall, the insight programme was very useful, however, parts of it were hard to understand but mostly because I had no background in finance, although, different speakers did a good job in making everything clears in their presentations.
