Overview
Morning - typically attending talks from the firm on practice areas and other legal topics of significance. Early Afternoon - typically worked on week-long innovation challenge within groups. Late Afternoon/Early Evening - typically shadowed associate (trainer) 1 on 1 and was delegated a range of work.
Skills
My knowledge of the inner workings of the legal sector increased significantly, as did my knowledge of actual legal concepts and the processes involved. Further strengthened my teamwork skills (through the innovation challenge) and time management skills (with independence given to balance trainer work with the group challenge, often scheduling our own meeting times).

Business Insight
Fascinating part of the experience - I had the chance to speak to everybody from first seat trainees to senior partners, and learnt a great deal about their roles.
