Responsible for management and execution of Microsoft Surface products, including Surface leads for E-Business. Daily tasks include forecasting, supply management, sales, sales assistance and communication with Microsoft Surface and pipeline management.
I have developed my knowledge vastly in the IT distribution industry. I have been able to develop communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills massively. Similarly, further developed workload management and sales techniques, which has overall made me more confident. I have gained knowledge in companies integrated SAP/CRM systems. Learnt to take initiative under pressure and successfully lead internal/ external incentive campaigns. Likewise gained product and commercial knowledge for Microsoft Surface.
I was given full roles and responsibilities since day one and always treated as a full time colleague, rather then an "intern".
Received plenty of training and guidance throughout my placement from my line manager and senior colleagues.
Due to the pandemic I spent most of my placement work from home. Regardless, company culture and atmosphere is always positive and fun.
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement due to wonderful and welcoming colleagues at TD. Also had a great line manager who really helped me develop my personal and corporate skills. My team and I played a vital role for Microsoft Surface TD in FY21, biggest achievement of my life so far! I was part of fun incentives throughout the year, also the most memorable first and last day!

I would be prepared for assessment centre and interview rounds. Make sure to find the right balance by not overpowering and/or being too quiet. Importantly be yourself in all stages. Its a learning experience so make sure to have fun and don't overthink!
