  • Investment banking summer analyst at RBC Capital Markets London office. Role is to assist the team (analysts and associates) on an adhoc basis with presenting specific financial or company information in PowerPoint and conducting financial analyses in excel.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • Was given much responsibility. Was able to join weekly client calls (with a CEO and CFO) from a project I was helping out with. Truly felt part of the team and part of RBC from the very first day.

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Non-hierarchical, super friendly, respectful, collaborative culture. Compared to different investment banks I feel that RBC is more inclusive and diverse.
