    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • My role included working with different data and business metrics, facilitating and preparing daily team meetings, running different reports, and project worked. I got to manage and run two projects during the placement. I also had a chance to work with other departments in the office.

  • I learned a lot during my placement and developed such skills like project management, Excel, VBA coding, SAP, leadership, data analysis, and other soft and hard transferable skills. You get to develop different skils depending on what type of work/projects you get involved in.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • I was given a lot of responsibilities. I managed two projects and my manager and team were always happy and willing to get me involved in different things to work on.

    Support & Guidance

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • I was always able to talk to my manager and team to discuss any concerns or thoughts that I had both work and personal life related. You get support and guidance from your manager constantly. They are always ready to help you grow and develop further or with any issues that you have. This was one f the best parts about the company and my placement. And also, globally, if you reach out to someone from international offices people will always find time to talk to you.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Very friendly and supportive. People are the best part of the placement and my experience. Everyone is always ready o help you with anything or guide you in the right direction. There are many opportunities to get involved into social life of the company both locally in your office or when joining global Employee Resource Groups.
