    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Completing graduate training workshops throughout the 2 years. In the first year, 3 month rotational placements in various departments. In the second year, 1 year placement in final destination (mine being networks design). Daily tasks involve assisting in design, material management and pricing of equipment using excel spreadsheets and other networking related software.

  • Yes, I have developed my excel skills, along with soft skills (both written and spoken clear communication). Networking design skills and cisco command line.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Generally good, however it could get really busy with projects and deadlines, thereby being less time for a new starter. People would help when they could, but you felt like everybody had a lot on their plate to really help you when you needed.
