The Role
An enjoyable placement working with welcoming and supporting colleagues.
Certain tasks meant you really felt valued within the company.
Training, support and guidance were all given by differing management levels and colleagues alike.
Some days were quite monotonous and some jobs given to you were a little tedious but I suppose every job has interesting and the not so interesting things to do!
Some projects given to me on placement allowed me and other placement students to take full control and responsibility!
Skills for life for definite. Very positive experiences for life ranging from the interview process, every day work and right up until the last days of the placement.
The Company
Quite a corporate atmosphere but a very airy and open office environment!
Very well managed by my manager directly and all the HR team.
More time and help from colleagues than physical money was invested, but you could argue that is more valuable!
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Not really the sort of marketing I could see myself going into but if B2B and International marketing is your thing then I would highly recommend.
The Culture
It was cool to have other placement students working there as well but all staff were sociable!
High Wycombe is the closest place to go out in but isn't really the social capital of Europe. London is only 40mins away by train though! Some places close by can be quite expensive to live.
Cant say its the best place i've ever been out in but theres plenty of pubs and lovely restaurants along the Thames!
If you like Football then your in!
