The role itself is a sales and customer service role, you will serve Enterprise customers who are booking vehicles through the website, receiving a courtesy car or through work while working in a fun and busy team of likeminded people. Alongside your role, you complete a management development programme that trains you in all areas of business management with the opportunity to receive a £500 bonus if you complete the programme within 10 months
You are trained in all areas of business management and you really do learn how to run a business, i personally developed sales and customer service skills and learned how to negotiate well and work within a fast paced team. I also could never understand finance from university but Enterprise helped me see finance and accounting in practice and now this is a skill I’m very good at
Yes, there is no difference between an intern and a graduate in terms of responsibility or role, everyone is treated the same and you aren’t made to feel different because you’re younger and less experienced. Alongside my role, I managed 6 corporate accounts which I was surprised I was trusted with due to the importance of this role
You get a lot of support from managers and from all corporate staff due to an open door policy allowing you to speak to whoever you want, whenever you want. Everyone is assigned a mentor from different levels of the company who meets with you regularly and is always there to help and support. I also was involved in the female focus group which I found so helpful and got a lot of support from.
The company culture is so positive, it’s a really fun company to work for and you feel like your hard work is always appreciated through the incentives, bonuses and days out they offer! We get paid nights out and meals regularly and everyone across all branches become really good friends. I loved the atmosphere in my branch I became really close with the team and it was like going to work with my best friends every day
I loved my internship and I was so glad I accepted my internship offer from Enterprise. I have learnt so much, made friends for like and have been given career opportunities and prospects I never thought I would be good enough for. I felt like the people at Enterprise saw something in me I didn’t, and I know they’ve helped shape me into the professional I am now
Be yourself throughout the interview process!! Enterprise want to hire great people so being yourself and letting the recruitment team get to know you as a person will help you be successful!
