We listened to departmental talks to find out a bit more about each of the areas in Deals and got to take part in activities that related to the different areas within Deals which was really engaging and enjoyable. We also got to take part in Q and A sessions with Partners and were allocated a 'buddy' who we could ask questions to.
Networking, Technical understanding, Communication, Time-keeping
It was a great insight into PwC as a whole and being able to dive deeper into Deals was really interesting. It was really motivating to hear how participation in the programme can help you achieve a Graduate offer (or placement/internship offer if in earlier years at University).
It was really engaging and welcoming. Everyone seemed like they enjoy the work that they do at PwC and the culture of the company really came across. It felt like there are lots of opportunities for development and a big focus on diversity and inclusion.
I thoroughly enjoyed the insight. Although it was virtual, it still felt like a lot of effort had gone into preparing the insight and this was appreciated. It was really engaging and definitely made me want to pursue a career with PwC.
Yes
The whole application process was not too difficult and I enjoyed the Career Focus day a lot as it was different to any other assessment centre I had completed before. I would say just try to be yourself, research PwC beforehand so that you feel prepared and then just embrace the opportunity as whatever the outcome, it is great practise for the future!
