    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Role involves almost everything you’d associate with business management. It is a fantastic insight into a working business on a global scale. Whatever you put into your placement at enterprise, you get back and more.

    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • After only 3 months so far at Enterprise, I have consolidated so much of what I have learnt in my first two years at uni. It also must be said that there is a lot of driving involved at times, but the hours you get in the office are incredibly valuable. You learn to chase debt, build repore with local businesses and develop in your sales.

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • From your first month, you are given different roles within the branch to manage. Wether it be controlling costs, or managing progressive business, you really feel like you are an important member of the team. You are also trusted to drive every vehicle from standard to luxury cars all the way to big vans.

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

Sometimes the mentors assigned are difficult to contact, but your branch managers are always there and are very understanding that you are just an intern.
