    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • This position reports to the Director, International DX Marketing Strategy and Planning. The role will be a valued member and provide vital support to the International Marketing Strategy and Planning team This role is working across a 12 month fixed term basis, and is suitable for those in a gap year of their sandwich degree. Areas of support and contribution include: • Support the development of strategic plans for International Marketing • Support strategy and planning team to set annual team goals, drive progress and measure outcomes • Provide analytical and presentation development support to ensure effective budget communication and governance • Contribute to the facilitation and document output for priority functional workstreams, including • Campaign Strategy & Content • Measurement and Reporting • Field Marketing & Business Development • Digital and Web • Executive Engagement and large-scale events • MarTech and Operation

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • Yes, I was treated like actual employee rather than a student. I was involved in all the relevant meetings which made me feel like I belonged there. I was also given very impactful projects, where I had to work as a team with other departments. It was nice to feel trusted to do the work properly.

    Support & Guidance

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • There were always people specially from my team but also from all over Adobe offering to help with any questions I had at any time of my placement, not just at the beginning. I had weekly meetings with my line manager to let him know what I was getting up to and how I was getting on. Having two buddy at also made it easy to reach out to someone if I had any questions.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • It was a very relaxed and friendly culture, but at the same time, work was always a priority and it was always taken very seriously. Our team would have fun online events quite frequently which was a nice break from work. We also had several benefits for our wellbeing which made me feel valued within the business.

    Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • I extremely enjoyed my placement and it was one of the best decisions I made whilst at university. It has equipped me with several skills that I will carry over into university and later life. I would definitely consider working for Adobe in the future.

  • Be yourself throughout the whole application process because if you act differently once you start, compared to the application process, it will be visible. If you're kind, driven and open to new experiences, you will fit right in at Adobe. Once you start, and even during the application process, connect with employees on LinkedIn and message them if you have any questions. The people at Adobe really make the job.
