Overview
Learnt Java; I spent the 9 weeks developing a Springboot Application. Daytoday was mainly programming based with meetings/seminars provided by the graduate team.
Skills
Learnt java, maven, springboot. Spent some time researching timeseries analysis in our group project
Responsibilities
No. Unfourtunately I was badly placed in an area of tech I am not interested in, so I dont have many skills, meaning none of the tasks I was given had any weight on the team I interned with
Support & Guidance
A lot of support. Everyone is keen to help out as much as they can
Culture
Friendly. Everyone is positive thinking. Which can get tedious especially when you are having a bad day, however you really cant fault a positive attitude...
Your Impressions
I got to know some really lovely people which is why I enjoyed it so much. It was fun, but could get voring when you had days with no meetings.
No
Just enjoy the experience. Nothing can realistically go that bad, it's super easy to make friends so just relax and have fun working.
