Overview
brought onto client meetings, and given a few PowerPoints slides to pull up. You have an hour of Q & A with one of the directors of a specific section of the business unit, and they share a wealth of knowledge about the firm and about what would be expected from you in terms of character and professionalism. It's a really great 3-day programme that paints a complete picture of the firm.
Skills
Learnt the importance of building networks in and around work. You are quickly engaged intp the work so immediately work with Slides, and sometimes you just take minutes but you also engage with clients so learn how to carry out meetings.
Business Insight
It shows you the world of opportunity that the firm provides you. So it's really nice knowing the different opportunities that you are presented with as a new employee.
Culture
Very caring people. There's emphasis on diversity and on people being themselves in order to put their best self forward. The company really encourages a hands-on culture where people are active and engaging with their work in order to gain more and more experience.
Your Impressions
It was a complete insight session to say the least. It was great meeting with leaders in the firm and hearing their journey to where they've been, the obstacles they've faced and what attitude is encouraged in order to face those challenges. I absolutely enjoyed it.
Yes
All the application work leading up to the programme itself is suddenly made worthwhile when you get to attend this programme. So go for it with all you have.
