Overview
General market research, creating support materials for meetings, helping out junior and senior bankers with their work on live and prospective deals.
Skills
Improved communication, research and analytical skills. Also become proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
Responsibilities
Obviously, due to my position as an intern and the seriousness of the job, all work is supervised but I felt part of the team.
Support & Guidance
The support and guidance was excellent, being able to reach out to any of the junior bankers was very helpful.
Culture
Due to the demanding nature of the job, the culture is very professional, but everyone was able to have a laugh during the quieter/social times.
Your Impressions
I would highly recommend this internship not just for the professional experience, but also for the connections and experience as a whole
Yes
Learn the technicals first. Go into the internship willing to learn, it is a steep learning curve.
