I worked closely with my manager to benchmark some technologies. This meant my work cycle followed research/ Learning on the topic; Editing/ writing code; testing/ collecting data; Doing a write-up. So my day-to-day task would be based on what stage of the cycle I was on.
I learned about some low-leveled systems I was previously unaware of. I also improved my understanding of how c is used at a low level.
Yes as after I completed my coding task I have to perform some measurements and then write up about the experiment and what the results were. This will then be used as a comparison when the new versions of the technology come out in the future
My manager was very friendly and responsive when it came to questions. My task was broken down into steps that I would reconvene with my manager who would help me decide what to do next. I also received some help from other members of my team when my manager was unavailable.

It was a very nice experience and I very much enjoyed it. There were plenty of opportunities to meet online with different interns across the globe and socialise with them
