During my placement I changed two roles. Here is what I did in both of them: - New Client Acquisition Point of View Factory – responsible for production of all assets used by sellers with clients (global) and also for improvement / innovation ongoing. - New Client Acquisition Asset Factory – responsible for supporting key deliverables for campaign activity and specific client engagements – design consulting, content creation and liaison with agency. - New Client Acquisition Sales Portal – responsible for E2E design and content for this global portal accessed by approx. 200 Client Execs globally. - Fast Start 2021 – lead EMEA Triage for 10000 sellers around 2021 sales enablement activities: answering seller questions and engaging SMEs if needed. - Digital Sales Focus Products – in depth competitive analysis and customer journey analysis to highlight areas for improvement. Involves synergy with marketing and brand organisations. - Communications support for Sales Leader – support enablement, newsletter, monthly and quarterly communications at EMEA and Global level, with feedback capturing and suggestions for improvement.
The quality of my placement has been exceptional. I cannot say enough to describe how much value and how many skills I have gained since 24th September 2020 when I started at IBM. I have been able to grow into a professional who knows how to set goals, work towards them, and achieve them in the end. I have learned how to use my creative and critical thinking to find solutions to complex challenges for several teams, industries and types of clients. IBM has unleashed my innovation and on numerous occasions I have been able to generate recommendations and devise unique end products that go above and beyond what has been requested initially. Thanks to IBM and all projects I have taken part in with my manager, my intern colleague and other experts and senior leaders, I have learned how to iterate continuously, ask for feedback, imbed it into the current workstream and produce an exceptional end solution. I have learned how to be an even stronger team player, communicator, and presenter and be adaptable to changing business requirements, expectations, and circumstances. This has allowed me to grow into the current ambitious, hungry to learn and focused professional that I am. I have been extremely lucky during my placement year at IBM because of the unique culture and people that surrounded me and most importantly because of my wonderful manager, leader and mentor that has been a role model for me throughout every day of the past 12 months, as well as my intern colleague who has supported, understood, and grew together with me. IBM is a place of inclusion, diversity, and endless growth opportunities.
I was given a lot of responsibility and I am very proud of it.
There was continuous support during my time at IBM both from my Task manager, Foundation manager, fellow interns and current graduates, as well as many more senior leaders in IBM. Help was always available as long as I asked.
Just one word - amazing!
