Overview
The programme ran from approx 9am-5pm everyday. Usually in the morning we would have sessions learning about different parts of the business and practice areas and then in the afternoon more interactive work, panel sessions or challenges to complete.
Skills
I was able to develop my commercial fluency and understand business of a law firm from a client perspective. I was able to also work on my written and oral communication through written tasks and presentations. Teamwork was also another big skill that we were able to develop during the week.
Business Insight
It was really insightful, in particular the insights provided into the different tasks a trainee would be doing within that practice area.
Culture
The general atmosphere was very vibrant and forthcoming, everyone was really open and extroverted yet extremely inclusive
