Overview
Meeting with other employees and discussing the status of projects. Tasks would include using excel, creating Gantt charts and using other project management tools.
Skills
Plenty of soft skills including emailing. People skills have been developed. Technical project management skills by using software such as excel, big picture and Jira have been used.
Responsibilities
As my skills developed I got more responsibility with each project that allowed me to grow more.
Support & Guidance
Weekly meetings were in place with my manager where we would discuss my development. Guidance was never an issue.
Culture
Culture was interesting and great to see. Everyone was friendly and wanted the best for me. The entire company and atmosphere was positive.
Your Impressions
The placement was a real eye opener. Providing me with many career paths that were tailored to my likes and skillsets. This made the experience very enjoyable as everyday I would be doing something different.
Yes
Enjoy and soak up the knowledge as much as possible. Be honest and figure out what role would be best for you. Remember that everyone is there to support you.
