  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Met some good people who worked there at a high level. Enjoyed going into work each day.

  • Feedback weekly on what i was doing either from manager or department members.

  • It was very much a case of being given your job role and then looking for others areas to develop yourself. You had to be a pro active individual to get the most out of it.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I had certain reports to be out monday, tuesday and friday. The other time was spent either working for the liasons team that i joined travelling the country advertising the company or sat at home watching the cricket ! You can work from home at IBM which is a great bonus on a hangover

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Huge in one instance. I successfully designed and implemented a Deals Database within UK, Ireland and South Africa. Winning an award and 250 quid.

  • IT Skills developed heavily, time management and presentational

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • We were in hot-desking which means people change daily. But generally the jokers stuck around me

  • I organised myself.

  • They were always keen to sponsor me to complete education, paying for me to work in the consulting department for a few days in London also

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • We had a small group of decent people there. Met loads of good people in Leamington area where I lived. Great place

  • Fairly reasonable. Good quality of life in Warwick and Leamington area
