1) I check my emails as Pfizer is a global company, things often come in overnight. 2) I will have meetings for various projects throughout the day, often planned but urgent ones for new tasks aren't uncommon. 3) complete paperwork for different submission's or queries including sending emails across the company to get documents or information required. 4) partake in social activities with undergrads. Each day is different as workflow varies a lot
I have significantly developed my interpersonal skills, with specifically Pfizer created programmes to improve my presenting skills in a range of situations. I have also learnt a lot of industry specific parts of the role, such as how to complete several key and unique European Medical agency forms relating to different areas of my role. I have greatly improved my communication skills and gained a tremendous amount of confidence
I was given a small amount of responsibility as all my work was checked by multiple different more senior staff
Very little, This was actually the only issue with my placement
Generally, very good, and often promoted growth
I enjoyed it long term, however it varied on a day to day basis, as some days were very tedious and dull. whereas others were very interesting and i felt like i had completed some work that had a significant impact on lives of patients
