    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • My responsibility has increased substantially throughout the year, starting off with the basics of learning the publishing process and minor responsibilities. At the end of my placement, I feel confident in my own ability to solve problems myself with the occasional need for support from someone with more industry knowledge. The level of responsibility over the last few months of my placement has been great for me.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Amazing company culture - one which has made me genuinely proud to work for Pfizer. So many amazing opportunities to get involved with things outside of your role, including diversity and inclusion initiatives, volunteering, colleague resource groups and many more. It feels like the company genuinely value its employees which I didn't expect to feel in such a large company. This year has been more rewarding because of this.

I have missed the social aspect of working but this has only been because the placement has been virtual because of covid.
