  • I was given a lot of responsibility. I was briefed on my projects then it was for me to investigate and contact the relevant people to achieve the brief. Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • I really enjoyed my internship. I learnt so much- about finance, about working in a big company and the energy industry. I met so many lovely people and really felt part of the company. I didn't think I would feel so included and have so much fun during these 7 weeks with this internship being online so I am so happy it surpassed my expectations. I would love to work here again.

  • 8. What advice would you give to others applying to Centrica
  • Be confident and chatty. Show you have a passion for Centrica and net zero but also show there is more to you than just work. Show how you follow the code and values as they are an essential part of being at Centrica. Also show that you are keen to learn and not be scared about asking questions. I wanted to join because I am keen to learn more about finance and the energy market.
