    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
  • Working alongside farm consultants. Main tasks were to use 'The Land App' software to map BPS areas of farms. Also had the opportunity to go on a few farm visits to analyse what countryside stewardship options could be incorporated at the farm to enable farmers to receive a grant. Lots of focus on countryside stewardship at present due to BPS being phased out and being replaced by the ELMS scheme.

  • Yes - learnt how to use 'The Land App' software, learnt how to communicate with staff at all levels (expected to work closely alongside directors), and gained an insight into all of the departments within Savills via regular Teams Departmental Overviews.
