  • Facilitating promotional and non-promotional activities with the Cardiovascular therapy area to market to healthcare professionals. Leading and managing multiple projects across a range of channels from social media campaigns to brochures and leaflets.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • Lead on multiple projects and tasks within my role which resulted in great exposure to a range of marketing activities as well as all the internal ways of working within the business. Given responsibility of managing the budget and key results and objective setting for the cardiovascular franchise. Overall, you are given the amount for responsibility you want from your placement

    Support & Guidance

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • I was given huge amounts of support from a plethora of employees, joining within COVID was extremely challenging and meant that I wasn't given a huge handover period from my previous placement student. Saying this, everyone at MSD was very approachable and willing to help with any queries I had just joining and still do now.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • The company culture at MSD is so welcoming and friendly. Joining in COVID it is hard to gauge the culture entirely but spending the last few weeks in the office, there are a huge number of social events and activities.
