  • As a Marketing Assistant at ProspectSoft I'm involved in a huge variety of tasks - whether it’s creating content for our social media platforms or writing an exciting blog, there’s always a creative task to get stuck into.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • Over the year I’ve learnt a wide range of new skills that’ll stick with me for the long run - from project and social media management to design skills. I’ve also developed my written communication and organisation skills, and my confidence in these areas has definitely grown.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • I was given huge amounts of responsibility during my placement and I was treated the same as a full-time employee. I received guidance and support whilst being given the freedom to lead projects of my own which was very beneficial in helping me develop my skills and confidence.

  • I received huge amounts of support and guidance during my placement, whilst being given the freedom to work independently. My line manager and the wider team were always on hand to answer any questions I had and offer advice, I always felt supported during my placement.

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • ProspectSoft has a very young and energetic culture which is perfect for students joining straight from University. They have a friendly and supportive atmosphere and everyone gets on really well.

  • I thoroughly enjoyed my placement at ProspectSoft. I’ve gained skills that I didn’t realise were missing, I’ve experienced living in a new city, and I’ve made friends for life.

  • My advice would be to apply early, as ProspectSoft’s placement scheme is very competitive. Also, be sure to do your research and tailor your application to ProspectSoft and the role itself.
