Overview
Provide EHS support to all areas Key contact for EHS Inspect areas across site Develop new policies and risk assessments Monitoring key metrics
Skills
Developed experience carrying out risk assessments and other health and safety documents and policies. Strong use of communication skills to speak to all levels within the organisation. Developed key project management skills through managing EHS projects
Responsibilities
I was given key responsibility to advise multiple departments on key EHS issues. Responsible for leading key EHS events.
Support & Guidance
Throughout the placement I received strong managerial support and guidance on career development within the industry. I had fortnightly meetings with my manager to review personal progress and weekly team progress reviews.
Culture
A very friendly working atmosphere with strong team connections. EHS is a small team but the nature of the work requires communication with all employees
