  • Fantastic. It fostered a healthy and entertaining workplace. Everyone was upbeat, helpful and really enthusiastic about how our projects were going. I also loved how the campus team hosted various fun events, sent out 'goodie' packages, and kept checking up to ensure we were enjoying our internship. It's by far the best workplace i've ever been a part of.

    Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • At first, i did feel a little lost as my project was my own. That did make me feel like the work was of lesser value. However over time, as my knowledge deepened in the subject, I began to trust my works value and that greatly helped. Beyond work, i have loved meeting the team and fellow interns. So i have greatly enjoyed my internship!

  • Yes

  • 8. What advice would you give to others applying to American Express
  • Don't worry if you're not from a finance background. The training is robust and I didn't feel disadvantaged as a physics student coming into the company. Amex values the real you and encourages you to be yourself at work more than anywhere I have been before. You should be confident in yourself and really bring what motivates you to work
